John has held more than 33 solo exhibitions in Australia and Europe during his 25 year career as a professional artist. John’s art is represented in public, corporate, and private collections around the world, including Holland, England, Ireland, USA, China, Canada and Australia. John has held more than 33 solo exhibitions in Australia and Europe and participated in numerous group shows culminating in several major art awards.
In 2008 John exhibited of a series of sculptures in Federation Square in Melbourne. The sculptures titled, “The Potato” were made in response to the United Nation’s International Year of the Potato in recognition of the UN’s ecological and humanitarian theme and to honor the men and women in the potato industry in Gippsland. The sculptures are now permanently located on the Princes Highway near Trafalgar Victoria.
He recently celebrated 25 years as a professional artist with an exhibition in his Inverloch studio; Easter weekend 2011. In November 2011 John held a successful exhibition in Melbourne.
